  • Q: Is this free?

    A: Yes, uploading and downloading is 100% Free for all users. We also offer premium accounts which allows for greater flexibility with uploading and downloading.


  • Q: Will my files be removed?

    A: Non account files are kept for 14 days. Free accounts files are kept for unlimited days. Premium accounts files are kept for unlimited days.

  • Q: How many files can I upload?

    A: You can upload as many files as you want, as long as each one adheres to the Terms of Service and the maximum file upload size.

  • Q: Which files types am I allowed to upload?

    A: There are no restrictions on the filetypes for uploading on SaberCatHost. You can upload any sort of file you like, including doc, pdf, txt, jpg, png, gif, mkv, mp4, mov, etc etc. All filetypes are accepted.

    However, please avoid uploading any viruses, malware, or other malicious content, as it will be removed without notice. Hаcked or crаcked files are fine, we don't care about that. We only care about malicious files such as viruses or malware because we want to protect our users and also have to adhere to Google policies.

    Also, рогп (explicit content) is strictly prohibited. If any is discovered it will simply be deleted without notice. Repeated violators may have their accounts banned permanently.

    Other than malicious content or explicit content, you can upload whatever you like.

  • Q: If I delete files or move it to the trash, can I get them back?

    A: Please do not delete files unless you're really sure you wanted to delete the files. If you delete files, these files will be removed from our deleted files upon our regular maintenance for security purposes.

    We want to make sure that, if you did really want to delete a file, then we aren't keeping it. What if it is a personal file and you wanted it gone forever? You wouldn't want us holding onto that file. Fear not, in a short period after deletion it will be purged from our servers.

    In some rare cases, it is possible to retrieve a file that was deleted, but not usually. Once our regular maintenance occurs your file is irretrievable, for security purposes as described above.

    In the rare case that maintenance has not occurred yet, we will consider recovering a sensitive file for the fee of $250 for the first 10 files and $50 per file after that. It costs this because it will take us a lot of work since the files are encrypted. If your file still exists and has not yet been purged from the deleted files or backups yet, then we can go in and recover it, but it won't be easy. We still won't be able to see the file, only the encrypted file code in the database of which there is a small chance of recovery. No charge of course if the file is not recoverable.

    We want to ensure the maximum security for your files so that is why we will regularly purge deleted files for your security. I hope you understand, and I hope you will not delete files if you did not really want to delete it.

    If you delete a file or move it to the trash, please either make sure that either 1) you have a backup if you want that file in the future, or 2) you never want that file ever again.

  • Q: I deleted a file but I still see it in the trash folder? But I can't access it?

    A: The trash folder does not contain any files. Actually those are just for reference and contain the stats (statistics) of a file like number of times downloaded, etc. You can see a name of the file, but if you click options, you will see that it just says "stats". This is because it is not really a file but just a reference to statistics for the file.

    Please see the answer above regarding file recovery. For security, we purge deleted files regularly.

  • Q: Are there any restrictions to the size of my uploaded files?

    A: For free users and users who do not have an account, your upload must be less than 50.00 MB in size. For premium upgraded users, the limit is 10.00 GB in size. If your file is larger than that amount, your file will be not be accepted and you must upload a file that is within the file size limits.

  • Q: How many files can I upload at the same time?

    A: Premium users can upload 10,000 files at the same time. Free users can upload 100 files at the same time. Non-users can upload 50 files at the same time. However, if you would like to upload thousands of small files at once, I recommend to zip them up with 7zip (it's free) and then upload the single large zip file instead of thousands of files at once. This will make it much easier to download them all when you need them.

  • Q: Can I upload music or videos?

    A: Yes. Music and video hosting is permitted as long as you own the copyright on the content and it adheres to the terms and conditions.

  • Q: There are some files on SaberCatHost servers which are copyrighted by me and someone else uploaded them. How can I notify you of them?

    A: You can report files on our report abuse pages.


  • Q: How can I share my files that I uploaded?

    A: It's very easy to share your files. First, you can simply log into your account and click the file you want to share. This will open up a dialog that gives you all the info, including links to copy and paste to give to whomever you want to share with. Additionally, at the bottom of this dialog are also options to share on social media. Also, you can share via email using the tab at the top of the file dialog. See the screenshot below:

  • Q: How can I share many files at once without having to click each image to get the file link?

    A: The easiest way is to create a folder. Then drag and drop into the folder. However, you can also do it by dragging your cursor over the images you want to select, or by holding the CTRL button (COMMAND on Mac) and clicking each of the files you want to share. Now when you selected all the files you want to share, click the "Links" button in the menu above. See the screenshots below:


  • Q: How do I create a folder?

    A: Creating a folder is easy. There is a menu button that says, "Add Folder". Click that and create your folder. See the screenshot below:

  • Q: How do I share a folder?

    A: To share a folder, just open the folder and click the folder menu button. Here you will see an option, "Share Folder". But first you need to make sure the folder is public if you want to share with other people. The default option is Private for your security. To do this you need to either choose the Privacy option when creating, or click the "Edit" option on the folder button dropdown. See the screenshots below:

  • Q: Can I drag and drop files I already uploaded into a folder?

    A: Yes! To drag and drop, you need to first select the files you want to move into the folder, and then drag into the left menu over top of the folder you want to put the files into. Please note you must drag into the left list and not the folder image. See the screenshot below:


  • Q: How can I make money by using SaberCatHost?

    A: There are a number of ways to make money by using SaberCatHost.

    Pay Per Sale: The top way to make money with SaberCatHost is to share your affiliate link on various sites including youtube, twitter, linkedin, facebook, reddit, pinterest, forums, comments sections on websites, on your own website or blog, and other places (PPS - Pay Per Sale).     Become A Reseller: The other way to earn money with SaberCatHost is to become a reseller. Visit the reseller page to learn more about becoming a reseller with SaberCatHost.


  • Q: How many accounts am I allowed to have?

    A: You are allowed 1 free account per person. You are allowed to have an unlimited number of premium accounts per person.

    If you have more than one free account, all your other accounts will be deleted permanently without notice at any time due to abuse of our terms of service, because you are only allowed to have one free account. You might think you got away with multiple free accounts but then later you will find the others were deleted (it could be minutes, hours, or even days later, it will just be gone) and then you lost the files in your duplicate accounts.

    If you lost the files because you broke our rules and made multiple accounts, you can never get these files back because it is deleted permanently. So play fair, only 1 free account per person!

    The reason you can only have one free account is because 5GB of free storage costs us money and we are providing this for free. Our system regularly scans for duplicate accounts and duplicate accounts will be terminated, so please play fair and only make one account.

    If it is found a user repeatedly makes multiple free accounts then they may be banned from the website (all accounts) because that is not fair for others. If you really need more than 5GB of space, please consider Upgrading Your Account to help support our server costs and keep the site fast for everyone!

    Premium accounts have unlimited storage, larger file sizes, multiple simultaneous uploads and downloads, very fast download speeds with no wait time, and many more great features; so you may want to Upgrade Your Account to have these extra features..

  • Q: How do I cancel my account?

    A: You can cancel your account by visiting the contact page and choosing "Cancel Account".

  • Q: I upgraded my account, but my account is still showing as a Free User? Why am I not Premium?

    A: If you upgraded your account then you are definitely a Premium user. However, your premium account will be under the email you used to pay for Premium.

    If your account is not Premium after paying, please LOG OUT first and then log back in. If that doesn't work, then go into your your account and make sure that your account email is the same email that you used to sign up with. If it is not then LOG OUT of your account and log back in using the email you used to pay for your Premium account.

    If your account is still not Premium, please make sure that your payment went though. If your account still says "FREE USER" in the top right corner of your account page then please contact us here..

  • Q: How do I reset my password?

    A: You can reset your password easily by either going into your your account and changing your pass, or by visiting the login page and choosing the option "Forgot Password".

  • Q: I would like to upgrade my membership. How do I do that?

    A: It's very easy to upgrade. You need to have an account to upgrade. If you are already logged in, on your account there is a link at the top and on the home page there is a link at the top right which says "Upgrade Account". You can also upgrade by clicking here: Upgrade My Account". Once you are on the registration page, choose your plan and click the PayPal image with the credit card logs, this will take you to the checkout page.

    If you are not logged in already, this will take you to a registration page. First register and then upgrade. If you are not already registered, then on the home page instead of "Upgrade Account" it will say "Premium". This will take you first to register, and then you can upgrade by just visiting the same link as above: Upgrade My Account". Once you are on the registration page, choose your plan and click the PayPal image with the credit card logs, this will take you to the checkout page. See the screenshots below:
